| From our own travels and holidays abroad, we know the
importance of good food and how coming across distinctive local produce
can add enormously to the enjoyment factor when discovering a new
region. |
| We are fortunate that our proximity to the sea, and the
Bassin de Thau in particular, means that we have access to excellent
oysters, mussels and clams and the freshest trout comes from the
mountain rivers nearby. |
| The butchers in Lodè ve are quite literally award
winning, and the markets overflow with superb fruit and vegetables. The
town itself sits amongst a sea of vineyards, and anyone looking for a
good bottle or two will not be disappointed |
| Breakfast |
| Continental breakfast is included in all room prices
and is available daily, between 8.00 and 9.00 am. We provide a glass of
freshly squeezed orange juice and seasonal fruit, such as apricots or
plums. |
| A basket of croissants, baguette and brioche, freshly
baked and purchased, is accompanied by a selection of preserves, cheese
and butter. Guests may choose a beverage from a wide range including
freshly ground coffee, chocolate or tea etc |
| Evening Meals |
| We offer evening meals three times a week on Saturdays,
Mondays and Wednesdays. The meals consist of four courses and the price
of 22 euros includes half a bottle of quality wine, an aperitif and
coffee, per person. |
| You will have no difficulty finding alternative fare on
the days when we do not offer evening meals. There are currently ten
restaurants in Lodè ve, all within easy walking distance of the house
and between them they offer a broad range, with something to suit every
budget. |
